September 19th

Today after class we went and picked up all of the equipment in Montgomery Hall. After picking it up with Zack we decided to test the equipment so everything will be ready for tomorrow's shooting. We worked with the Ursa Mini, to figure out how to set up the zoom, exposure, memory and all of the elements we needed for the film. Also we tested the Canon 7D to shoot all of the HDRI's by changing all of the stops so we can have a wide range and get a correct HDRI with highlights and shadows. We also tried some of the lenses to know what type we wanted to use for each one of the plates.

Also I developed the prop of the map along side Paola Torres who is an MFA Production designer. We used special paper and dipped it in coffee and soy sauce to the devolp the old texture of the map, the we burned the edges and hand painted the map inside it. This are some pictures of both of the processes described.
